Taking Care of the Health of Future Players

A general medical examination provides safety for the risks associated with the athlete's
health. Predicting possible trauma and any other medical risks is an essential
requirement for eliminating complications in the future. The role of the medical
examination is important when engaging in a new sporting activity, in order to properly
assess the physical condition of the athlete or future athlete, and properly plan their
workload.
The medical team of NVU introduces a multifaceted medical examination model for the
Inter Academy of Georgia participants, which combines a comprehensive preventive
examination with a full ophthalmological and dental examination. On top of the annual
full health examination, Inter Academy players’ health will be regularly monitored and
additional check-ups will be carried out with six month intervals.
